Wardrobe Inspiration: Skirts and Prints

I'm always constantly inspired and always looking for ways to add more style and edge to my outfits on a daily basis. One of the reasons why I wanted to start this blog is because I wanted to document outfits and see where my taste and mood takes me! This post is all about some of the styles I'm currently into and have been obsessed with. As you can see, I'm pretty repetitive. I'm loving plaid, stripes, print, maxi skirts, and crop tops. I think it also shows how much I long for the warmer weather now, so I can start experimenting with such details! Yeah, I'm having the Winter blues.

On a side note, I also plan on doing more of these inspiration posts in the future, but if you're interested in what else I'm into, you can go onto my pinterest, which have the photos and sources featured here, and see what else I'm loving!

....And hello! Welcome to Pretty Ensembles! I figure this post would be a good one to introduce myself because I am labelling this the official post of the blog! The last two posts were taken last Summer, and I thought it would be a great starter for the blog and to see how it would go!

Now we're here! This blog has been on my mind for a while, but a lot of second thoughts and debating. After much support and encouragement from friends, I decided to plunge in! I also thought it would be fitting to do one in the new year, because new year, new change! I'm very excited for what this blog holds and I thank you so much for taking the time to view it! I hope it doesn't disappoint!

Today's theme is braving the freezing weather as we here, in Canada, are experiencing such a cold Winter already. As much as you wanna look cute, you got to be functional and warm because man, it's definitely not cute to get sick. Well, I did sacrifice my scarf for the sake of the photos, but I'm so satisfied with the end result.

Thank you again for the best photographer, Mary, for being there and for also being my creative buddy as we plan more of these! I wouldn't be able to do this with out you, girl. Thanks to her, these shots ended up being so stellar! It was definitely so hard to pick which ones to choose because she took so many! Hope you guys enjoy!
